Eight projects by Cherokee County School District students are headed to the Regional Social Studies Fair! Through the annual CCSD Social Studies Fair program, students in grades 5-12 can explore an area of social studies and complete a research project individually or as part of a team.

Cherokee County School District PTA leaders and principals gathered today for the annual Georgia PTA District 13 Holiday Luncheon. The event featured remarks by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower and keynote speaker, Lisa-Marie Haygood, executive director of the Cherokee County Educational Foundation and past Georgia PTA president.
Today’s #CCSDGives project is from Cherokee High School! CCSD students learn the value of service year-round through charitable projects and volunteering. During the holiday season, our schools stay especially busy with these projects. To increase our students’ positive impact in the community, we will regularly share details of these projects with you through CCSDGives posts including how you can help.
CCSD’s Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) handbook, “Focus on the Future,” will be going home with 8th graders this month as they prepare to register for their high school classes.
