The Holly Springs Optimist Club recently honored seven CCSD students, along with an outstanding teacher and a paraprofessional at its annual Middle School Awards breakfast, which recognizes outstanding special needs students and their supportive teachers and staff.
The Cherokee County School District is accepting Georgia Pre-K lottery applications for the 2024-25 school year.
Families may apply online using CCSD’s registration system or in person using paper forms available at CCSD’s Pre-K sites (7:35 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Mondays-Fridays) and posted below. Applications are due by noon Friday, March 29. As enrollment is limited, a drawing will be held at 3 p.m. on April 17 to select students for the program.
Every school year, each CCSD high school selects one Student Delegate to the School Board to represent the student voice. One Delegate is named the Student Advisor and sits with the Board at its meetings. We’ll introduce you to them all this year! #CCSDfam!
The Cherokee County School District has increased its Career Pathway high school programs, which provide students with a wide selection of job exploration and preparation electives, to 41 this school year. Through CCSD Pathway Profiles, we’re profiling each of the three new programs … this week’s profile focuses on the Sports and Entertainment Marketing program at River Ridge High School.
