CCSD Celebrates 2024 National Signing Day Student Athletes

Forty-five Cherokee County School District student athletes today signed commitment letters to play competitive sports at the college level!

The students were honored with ceremonies at their high schools to celebrate their signing of National Letters of Intent. This week’s National Signing Day follows signing events held earlier this school year at which 57 CCSD student athletes signed to play on competitive college teams … for a total so far this year of 102 signings.

“Congratulations on achieving this inspiring success accomplished through years of dedication to your sport, your education and your community.  We wish you continued success as you finish high school strong and advance to college!” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower said. “Thank you to our coaches and our parent and community volunteers and boosters for everything you do to support our student athletes.”
