Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Jeanne Adams of Avery ES!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day! Third-grade teacher Jeanne Adams, a 37-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for Avery Elementary School.
“What truly sets Mrs. Adams apart is her knowledge of each individual student’s goals and needs,” shared the parent of two former students. “She invests time in knowing exactly where they are academically and takes time to help her students bridge their gaps. My daughter came to her with a speech concern for which Mrs. Adams had to implement interventions. Her dedication to this process was one of the reasons my daughter mastered her goal and was able to close out a speech plan. Mrs. Adams may never know the impact her investment had on my daughter.”
